Alpine County Projects

The Mother Lode Land Trust works on the western side of the smallest and possibly best named county in California. We have several private conservation easements representing some specatular high country vistas and unique habitat types. Our largest and most well known conservation easement project, nearly 1,400 acres, is called Blue Lakes which is owned by PG&E. There are plenty of places to hike, fish and camp.
